Dr. Carrie Marsh graduated from Murdoch University in 2007. She has worked at hospitals in Mandurah, Pinjarra, Rockingham, Bullcreek, Byford, and Canning Vale until 2018 when she founded Best Friends' Family Vet Centre. Carrie was a school teacher before deciding to follow her heart and become a Veterinarian. Perhaps that is why she is so patient and caring. Her tireless drive, devotion and desire for animal welfare is unstoppable. Her family home is made up of many strays and unwanted beautiful creatures who Carrie and her young son now love and care for. Sue is one of the owners of the practice and will likely be the first person you meet when you come and see us. Sue previously owned and worked in a flourishing hair salon in Armadale and has over 35 years in customer service.
Though new to the veterinary industry, her friendly and welcoming attitude makes her a favourite among the clients. For any problems or concerns Sue will always do her utmost to help or just be there to listen when needed.
Once you get to know Sue, you will learn she is a dedicated wife and mother and that her family is her heart and soul. Sue lives in Byford with her wonderful husband and son, who you will no doubt see at some point, as they will be frequent visitors to the centre.
Chris obtained his Business degree at Curtain University and has over 50 years experience in accounting, administration and management. He lives at home with his menagerie of animals collected by wife and daughter.
Kim graduated from her Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing at South Metropolitan TAFE in 2016.
From a young age Kim has loved being around animals, Kim has been with us at Best Friends Family Vet Centre since early 2023. Kim have got a Beautiful German Shepherd named Kouta. In her free time Kim spends time with her young daughter who shares same passion in animals.
Jenna began studying her certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at the beginning of 2024 after graduating high school, with a view to continuing her career and becoming fully qualified so she can continue to help animals in need. She has always loved animals but her love grew stronger in 2019 when her parents finally gave in and adopted her family dog Mitzi. She loves learning new things about animals and meeting all different kinds of breeds and species at work everyday.
